Pre-Appointment Instructions
Read and follow this timeline carefully. This will ensure that you skin is in the best possible condition for beautifully healed PMU results.
4 Weeks Before Appointment
Do Not Get! Botox or other fillers, chemical peels, laser treatments
7 days before appointment:
Do Not Get! Sunburned, ANY hair removal services (pluck, wax, thread, etc.), Retinol / Retin-A or other anti-aging/ acne creams, any serum containing acid
48 hours before appointment:
Do Not! Take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E and/or Ibuprofen, omega-3, unless medically necessary
For any lip service, Stop taking Valtrex, keep lips always moisturized.
24 hours before appointment:
Do Not! Drink alcohol, consume anything with caffeine.
Aftercare
Aftercare
Proper Aftercare is crucial to your new PMU healing correctly. Please follow these instructions carefully! We only want the best results for you!
Crucial
2x a day apply a small amount of provided cleanser to freshly washed hands and gently wash the treated area. RINSE THOROUGHLY with water. After cleansing, apply a rice size amount of provided ointment to treated area. Do this for 7 days. Avoid touching and scratching the area. Once scabs start forming, do not pick!
14 Days After
These next 2 weeks will be a test of your personal will power, but we know you can do it! I mean, you survived a global pandemic for crying out loud!
Avoid all of the following
Increased sweating like from a a heavy workout.
Swimming.
Saunas and Jacuzzis. Steam.
Any form of tanning.
Exposure to UV/UVA Rays or chemicals.
Any laser or chemical treatments or peelings, and/or any creams containing Retin-A or Glycolic acid on the treatment area.
Picking, peeling, or scratching of the treated area in order to avoid scarring of the area or removal of the pigment.
Performing tasks related to heavy household cleaning where there is a lot of airborne debris and chemicals.
Drinking alcohol in excess, as it may lead to slow healing of wounds.
Driving in open air vehicles such as convertibles, boats, bicycles, or motorcycles
Touching of the eyebrow area except for when rinsing and applying the post-care cream.
Healing Process
The Healing Process
It takes anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks for the skin to completely heal after a PMU procedure. The healing process can be scary at times. Trust the process! Your brows will go from looking way to dark and thick in the beginning, to looking like they disappeared. This is all due to the skin’s regeneration process.
