Important Info!

Microblading and all permanent cosmetics are considered a multiple-

step appointment process. Healed results will vary with each individual client. NO

guarantees will be made. Additional sessions (at an additional charge) may be required

to obtain optimal desired results. Although I give my best effort to provide you with

quality service, many factors can result in a less than desired outcome as each client will

heal differently. In order for your new brows to heal properly (and look their very best)

please follow all Pre-Appointment Restrictions and After Care! These instructions are

designed to limit bleeding and skin sensitivities during the service. Excessive bleeding

during the procedure can dilute and expel the pigment color and lead to poor results.

Butterfly Beauty PMU reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. Prices are subject to change at anytime.

Exemptions

Permanent Make Up Exemptions

Inelligible (NO EXECPTIONS!)

Individuals under 18 years of age: I cannot work on anyone under 18 years of age, even with

parental consent.

Women who are pregnant or nursing:  As the body is going through hormonal changes, it is

more prone to infections. As well, your skin may change, and results can be unpredictable.

Individuals with viral infections and/or diseases: The risk of developing an infection is higher in

people with compromised immune system.

Individuals with Lupus:

The risk of developing an infection is higher in people with

compromised immune system.

Individuals using Accutane:

Accutane alters the skin and makes it thin, dry, and

sensitive. It also weakens your immune system. For those reasons you’ll need to wait one year after

your Accutane treatment is completed and your skin is back to its normal state.

Individuals Undergoing Chemotherapy

Although permanent makeup is great for enhancing

your look, I require a doctor’s note in order to perform the procedure for anyone undergoing

chemotherapy. Once you're cleared from your oncologist, we can book your appointment.

Permanent makeup is a great solution for someone who may have lost eyebrows from

chemotherapy.

Individuals with Diabetes:

It is important that your condition is stable and under control. Please

consult with your physician and provide us with a doctors note.

Individuals with Thyroid Condition:

The color of your brows can fade faster when taken with

certain thyroid medications.

Individuals with Glaucoma:

The risk of developing an eye infection is higher.

Individuals with High Blood Pressure:

Your blood pressure must be at a stable condition. You

may have slightly greater bleeding than the norm. Excessive bleeding during the procedure can

dilute and expel the pigment color and lead to poor results.

Eligible

Eligible Based on Individual Cases

Consultation Required

Individuals with a dark pre-existing eyebrow tattoo or permanent makeup:

The tattoo or

permanent makeup must be light enough for me to draw hair strokes or shade over. Saline

Lightening 1 st may be the best option to get the PMU light enough to be covered up.

Individuals who are allergic to lidocaine or epinephrine:

My most used anesthetic is lidocaine

and epinephrine so if you have an allergy, I will not be able to use it during the procedure. A

patch test can be performed, or you will still have an option to proceed but without a numbing

agent to reduce the pain..

Individuals with Oily Skin:

Those with very oily skin are ineligible for microblading. Powder

brows are recommended for this skin type. Those with less oily or combination skin, may

consider a combination of microblading and powder effect, known as combo brows.

Individuals that are prone to cold sores (Lip Services):

If you are prone to cold sores, lip

blushing may result in an outbreak and cause loss of pigment. You must start taking antiviral

medication, prescribed by your doctor and NOT over the counter, 48 hours prior to treatment

to prevent an outbreak.

Individuals with a dark lips or prone to hyperpigmentation (Lip Services):

In some cases I

cannot work over dark lips or people prone to hyperpigmentation, due to the hyper

pigmentation possibly getting darker.

Individuals with Sun Damaged Skin:

It can result in poor retention of pigment.

At Butterfly Beauty PMU, we believe that you should feel confident and empowered by your awesome new brows! (And lips :). We only want you to feel beautiful inside and out!
